These scholarships were established by the Association of School Business Officials of Maryland and The District of Columbia to assist students financially in Maryland and DC to secure a college education who will want to pursue a degree in business or education.
Each of the 10 scholarships is worth $1,000 and are based upon the following:
-Scholastic Achievement - 3.0 GPA or better.
-Financial Need
-SAT
Quality of Extra-curricular Achievements.
A student must be a resident for at least 1 year preceding the date of the award.

NHS Scholarship Program
The application process for the NHS Scholarship Program is administered online by International Scholarship and Tuition Services(ISTS). The deadline to complete and submit the student portion of
the application form is January 30, 2018. The deadline for submitting recommendations and certifications is February 5, 2018.

MARK & ARIANE ODOM 2018 SCHOLARSHIP
Award: $500 to 2 senior high school students
The scholarship check will be made payable to the school after your letter of acceptance from the school and student ID number have been received by the scholarship committee. No funds will be released without this information. If awardees do not meet these requirements by September 30, 2018 the funds will revert to the Scholarship fund for the next year’s awardees.

ASEC Scholarship and Internship
ASEC has established our first scholarship program to provide financial assistance for higher education. Graduating high school seniors are eligible to apply. Qualified applicants will be evaluated on their leadership, integrity, drive, and intellect. Scholarships will be applied to student tuition, room and board while recipient is pursuing a degree.

In addition, ASEC has a summer internship available for one High School student. This internship will allow the student to work closely with other members of our commercial drone department participating in the development of a unique prototype sUAS drone. The intern will learn how to document program design, code, 3-D manufacturing, plan test events, and participate in live aircraft and sUAS testing.

This scholarship was created to assist education costs for graduating seniors entering their first year of undergrad.

SYB Scholarship
The SYB Optimist Club of Lusby will be offering merit based scholarships for students at PHS.
To be eligible you should:
- Have participated in an SYB sports program
- plan on attending a four year college or university, visual arts school or vocational/technical school.
Scholarships will be awarded based on scholastic achievement, school and community involvement. Financial need is not considered.
