If you plan to obtain a 2 or 4 year degree, or attend trade school in Maryland, consider filling out this application. You must be enrolled or plan to enroll in at least 6 credit hours and reside within district 29C

Medstar St Marys Hospital Scholarship

DEADLINE: February 26th 2021 

If you are interested in a career in health care. St Mary's hospital is offering a scholarship for students pursuing a degree in nursing or allied health. You must have a 3.0 GPA and be willing to work with Medstar St Marys after completion of your degree.

AES Engineering Scholarship

 DEADLINE: October 8, 2021

A scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.

You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

Students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words 

There is no application packet for this award.

AES Scholarship

Calvert Local Scholarship Application

DEADLINE: MARCH 12th 2021

If you are a SENIOR consider looking at this application. It allows students to look at and apply to 93 different scholarships from 31 different providers. These offers are local, meaning tri county, so your chances of obtaining one or more of these scholarships is greater. You are only competing with students at PHS and local high schools, so give it a try!

All information including the Application, high school transcript, SAT/ACT scores, the Student Aid Report from a completed FAFSA, a student resume, two letters of recommendation, and an essay or personal statement will be submitted online this year.

Prince Frederick Masonic Scholarships

UPDATE: Deadline has been moved to April 1 2021 

Deadline for this Scholarship is March 1 2021


Applicants should be considered from the following criteria (in order)

 a. Leadership in School and Community

 b. Participation in School Activities 

c. Personal Resume 

d. Academics (SAT and GPA documentation preferred) 

e. Financial Need 

f. References I Recommendations 

g. Overall Neatness of Application 


Nearly $70,000 in scholarship money will be available to seniors throughout the state of Maryland through this scholarship.

Dwight B. Jacobus Scholarship



DEADLINE: March 1, 2021

Five scholarships are awarded each year to an individual enrolled in an approved program leading to teacher certification.

Eligibility:

  • Been residents of Maryland or the District of Columbia for at least one year preceding the date of award
  • Been accepted for admission as a full time student
  • Demonstrated a financial need
  • A minimum 2.0 overall GPA (High School Seniors)

The Naval Officers' Spouses' Club of Washington, D.C. is  offering merit scholarships this year to graduating seniors who are dependents including all ranks of active duty, retired, or deceased U.S. Navy service members.
