This scholarship is for elementary school education majors. Eligible seniors must attend a Maryland college. Applicants must write a one page essay or less as to your beliefs and commitment toward educating all students. Transcripts, SAT/ACT scores and two letters of recommendation are required.
It is preferred that applications are completed online at www.wcps.k12.md.us; click on "our schools;" click on "elementary"; scroll down to "Maugansville Elementary" and click on "more info". Look for downloadable resources and click on "Ken Mann Scholarship Information and Application."
This is a $1000 scholarship; the deadline is April 13, 2012.
