Guaranteed Access Grant

This is grant money from the State of Maryland which, when combined with the Federal Pell Grant and a family's expected financial contribution to college, will help cover the cost of full-time study at a Maryland college or university.

The amounts vary up to $15,000 annually.  Applicants must:  be Maryland residents; attend a Maryland school; have completed a college preparatory program; have a minimum, cumulative, unweighted 2.5 GPA through first semester senior year; complete the FAFSA; and have a total family annual income that qualifies.

The Guaranteed Access Grant application is completed online at Guaranteed Access Grant.

Your school counselor must submit your official high school transcript together with a Certification form.

The deadline is March 1, 2013.
