The Calvert Optimist Community Parks Foundation, Inc. awards two scholarships for students graduating from Calvert County public schools for undergraduate study in the field of their choice at a college or university.
1st awarded Scholarship: Knapp Scholarship for $8000 total or $2000 per year
2nd awarded Scholarship: Jim-King Scholarship for $6000 or $1500 per year
