2018-2019 Guaranteed Access Grant

 In order to be considered for the 2018-2019 GA Grant...
  • be sure to file your 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2018
  • If you are identified as potentially eligible for the GA grant, you will be notified via email to submit additional required documents, which must be submitted to MHEC by April 1, 2018.
  • All Initial and Renewal GA students must submit the FAFSA and all required documentation by the above deadlines to be considered for the 2018-2019 GA grant. 

Again, MHEC will continue to notify students (via the email provided on the FAFSA) who have been identified as potentially eligible to receive the 2018-2019 GA grant.  In the meantime, if you have not done so already we encourage you to create an account through the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS) in order to view your eligibility status and your ToDo list  for a listing of all required documentation. To create an MDCAPS account, you may visit https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us/.  

**DEADLINE REMINDER**

MARCH 1, 2018 - Last day for initial and renewal GA students to submit the 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid

APRIL 1, 2018 - Last day for initial and renewal GA students to submit all required documents to the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
