Ken Hoofnagle was the optimist club charter president and this scholarship is awarded in honor of the service and dedication that Mr. Hoofnagle exhibited throughout the years of his service to the youth of Calvert County.
Application Requirements:
- Must be residents of Calvert County
- Be in current graduating class of Patuxent High School
- Must be accepted to college or university that is approved by the optimist club
- Transcript and certificate of enrollment
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater
- Complete the required essay
